The cobbled streets of the village centre offer a range of amenities, including an excellent boulangerie, two convenience stores and two restaurants — all just a couple of minutes' walk away. Chablis, where you can sample the region's world-famous wine and gastronomy, is only a 25-minute drive.

Slightly further afield are the tranquil lakes and forests of the Morvan hills and the famous wine regions of Beaune and Sancerre. All can be enjoyed on day trips, and Paris is easily accessible by TGV from nearby Montbard. The surrounding Yonne countryside is perfect for enjoying many outdoor activities, such as walking, cycling, horse-riding and boat trips.
